My long lost friend

I can't call this a poem, it's like a song. Well, me and Thariga wrote this at school during a free period, it was kind of improvised by me!

Credit: Thariga!!

So here it goes!
Once upon a time,
When I was six and she seven
We met each other….
All the fun we had,
The memories of our quarrels,
Just me and she, Just me and she,
But now she’s gone
Far from my life,
Parted from my life,
Forever… forever…

Maybe, in this life,
We weren’t made for each other;
Cause we’ve, parted,
From our respective lives,
Now that, we’ve parted,
We may never meet again,
Forever, forever, forever (2)

When we met, the sun came up,
But now that we’ve parted, the sun came down,
All the fine memories of the past,
When we met,
When we left,
The world seems empty without such a friend… -CHORUS

We just talk through internet,
It’s years since we talked face to face,
Just hope that we meet again,
Developing another memory…
Which will play a role in history,

Just you and me, just you and me. -CHORUS

(BLUE PRINT IS NARRATION AND RED PRINT IS CHORUS)

Nature's Song

 My third poem, I wrote in when i was Seventh standard
Credit: Jayalakshmi mam (my bharatanatyam teacher)

So here it goes:

Nature has so much to say,
From mountain, to river, to bay;
But no one has so much to sell,
Like nature’s beauty, what to tell!

Made in heaven, not in hell,
Such a sight, made just too well;
From fairy tales to lands of dwarves,
In nature’s life, made just too posh!

O’er the fields, to the sky,
The birdies fly, so high and high!
The pleasing voice of farmers merry,
Like a dance, so very merry!

From up the hills, to oceans deep,
Where we see bills, and animals sleep,
Playing in joy, saying hi and bye,

Up in the world, in nature’s hide!

My Family To A Car

 This was my first poem, i wrote it when i was in the Fifth Standard
Credit goes to Papa!

So here it goes:

My family is like
A car with four wheels;
Each family member is
Like the members of the car!

My dad’s like the four wheels,
Along with the steering wheel;
By his side are his hands,
Taking us all along.

My mom’s like the outer surface,
Protecting us in all means;
Whether sunny, rainy, windy , or cloudy,
She is always there.

My grand mom’s like the horn,
Stopping us from the wrong,
She’s always there like a stoplight;
And protects us from all!

Not to forget my Veer,
Who is like the dickey;
He always stores trouble and fun,
Which makes him a storage box!

About me I’m just the seats,
Letting everyone sit,
Never let anyone to stand,
While I am enjoying, sitting!
